Our Alpine product is a board form finish precast panel. Board form concrete beautifully combines the movement, depth, and rawness of both wood and concrete into one product. Concrete is cast on molds that capture the grain, fibers, and knots of natural 4” pine wood planks which gives Alpine its distinguishing look. Our Alpine Board Form finish still maintains a subtle refinement to this natural finish in comparison to Coastal. Our FormEffects collection allows you to create the aesthetic of structural poured-in-place concrete walls but with the ease and flexibility of lightweight precast panels. Offered in 5 standard colors that capture the natural tones of concrete and user friendly standard sizes, FormEffects makes it easy for new and seasoned designers alike to transform any space with remarkable concrete surfaces.

Squared vs Keyed
FormEffects offers our board form in either keyed or squared panels. Keyed panels use the individual boards within the panel to create dimensional variance along the vertical edges of the panel. This allows the vertical seam of adjoining panels to be almost completely indistinguishable. This panel edge is ideal for large wall spans that would require a layout of several panels but an uninterrupted look is still desired. Squared panels have straight vertical edges as typical with paneling. Installation is easier with squared panels however a vertical seam between adjoining panels will be noticeable. On both styles of panel edges, horizontal seams are also typically indistinguishable as the depth variation between boards makes it difficult to notice the location of a horizontal seam.
Corner Conditions
FormEffects offers integrated outside corner components for both our Coastal and Alpine board formed panels. The corner component allows the panel installation, especially when using keyed panel seams, to maintain the uninterrupted monolithic look as the panels turn onto an adjacent wall. Inside corners are typically recommended to be a lap joint condition.
